  • Truth Coffee Roasting

This quirky coffee shop was named the best in the world by the Daily Telegraph. Set in an old retro warehouse, the overall setting is very unique, except kitsch copper installations dropping off the ceilings, leather seatings and black metal tables. It’s almost impossible to describe, you really have to check it out for yourself. I would recommend trying the orange juice & coffee drink. Served in a martini glass, it’s the perfect blend between an espresso martini and a mimosa. Foodwise, the avocado on toast is a solid choice and the pastries are delicious too.

More than a coffee shop, this is a no-waste shop and lunch spot. I loved their fresh boxes, smoothies and juices. They also have a great little outdoor spot where you can chill whilst eating on some homemade veggie delicacies.

Damn the chains but this one is god damn good so definitely worth the detour. On the menu, try their truffle eggs with one of their home made juices. They have locations across the city and their menu is affordable too.
