Grace's cool spot
This place lives up to its name as it is possibly the coolest spot on the island. The little colourful shacks are reasonably priced and you’ll fall asleep listening to the sound of the ocean nearby. They also organise some snorkel & fishing trips here. The fishing & snorkelling trip is a must do. We caught more fish than we could stomach, snorkelled with eagle rays and sharks and drank some delightful rum from fresh coconuts whilst overlooking the sunset on the water.

Go night snorkelling with Charly
I loved going snorkelling with Charly, he’s native from the island and will bring you to the best spots with the most amazing marine life. We saw some turtles, sharks, squids, sting rays, eagle rays and barracudas. He’s also the only one to organise night snorkelling which was a unique experience. You get thrown in the water at night with a light torch to guide through the dark waters. I came very close to a Barracuda and spotted some glowing planktons too.

Dive
Little corn is a hot spot for divers although your experience can be a a bit hit or miss depending on the day you set off. It can also get pretty windy here so it’s not always possible to dive. Casa Iguana also known as the white hole is meant to be one of the best diving spots in the world. Expect to splash the cash to get there! Tours are not very regular too and will only run if the conditions are pristine. It’s actually closer to get there from Big Corn but not cheaper apparently.

Kayak
Renting a kayak is a great way to see parts of the island. There’s plenty of place you can get these or simply reserve them directly with your accommodation.

Kite Surf
I’m not an expert on this subject but saw quite a few peeps getting blown away so if you’re into Windsurfing, little corn is a good spot!

Go on a a boozy fishing snorkelling trip
Organised by Grace cool spot, this afternoon filled activities is a must do. You’ll start the day with fishing, followed by snorkelling and then enjoying a sunset cruise whilst drinking some rum from fresh coconuts. Back at shore, the kitchen from Grace will cook up the catches of the day accompanied by delicious sides.
Cost: $40 (negosiable depending on the size of the group)

Tranquilo cafe
This is the hot spot on the island to go out and enjoy a good drink and meal. They have parties on Wednesdays and Saturdays with live local bands and happy hour prices all night. On Thursday they also host a pub quiz. Their food menu is pretty decent too, their hand-cut chips are divine. The best thing on the menu is without a doubt the fresh fish tacos.
They also have a little gift shop onsite and a library. It cost $10 to rent a book and when you bring it back they reimburse you $9 and they’ll keep $1 to give away to a charitable foundation.

El Bosque
Loved, loved, loved this place and came here almost every day. This little restaurant hidden away in the bushes is a right little gem. They offer a very affordable set menu which for 130 cordobas (£3) will get you: a small starter salad a main dish and a dessert. All the food is home made with love and the owners are very hospitable. The main portions are very generous too. I’de recommend the whole fish in garlic sauce.
